Relaxation ways before bedtime


Help your body relax before bedtime. Your body needs the right time and "supplies" to go through the process of relaxation. A hot bath and a few breath-meditation exercises are enough to do this!

Hot bath in soaking salts

Simple Breathing Exercises

We can also do a few simple breathing exercises to relax even more before bedtime.

  • Sit comfortably on the couch or lie down on the bed, with the back straight. Leave aside telephones and negative thoughts.
  • Gently close the eyes.
  • Breathe gently and naturally, without thinking about anything negative. If you can not isolate our thoughts, focus on your breathing.
  • Just follow your breath: "Inhale-pause-exhale-pause".
  • If thoughts or feelings come to your mind, try to bring your thoughts back to breathing. Stay calm and relaxed for five to ten minutes or until you fall asleep.
  • A more advanced breathing technique is to hold each breath a certain amount of time, exhalation and pause, as many seconds as anyone feels can respond without difficulty.
