Help your body relax before bedtime. Your body needs the right time and
"supplies" to go through the process of relaxation. A hot bath and a
few breath-meditation exercises are enough to do this!
Hot bath in soaking salts
A hot bath enriched with aromatic salts is an ideal choice for relaxing, refreshing and relieving the intensity of the day!
We fill our bathtub with warm water while having our hand under the tap
holding a handful of bath salts, allowing the salts to fall into the bathtub
along with the water. Thus, their fragrance diffuses into the bathroom through
steam from hot water, allowing the activation of other senses. Salts, depending
on their size, dissolve rapidly as soon as they come into contact with water.
Stir well in the water so that all of their fragrance is released. We are ready
to immerse into water and enjoy our relaxing bath. In this way we relax,
moisturize our skin thanks to the oils and detoxify the skin due to the salts.
Neroli essential oil used by Apeiranthos natural skincare in Soaking Salts, apart from
its healing properties, such as detoxification, hydration, antiaging, antiseptic
action and soothing, it also evokes feelings of joy. It balances body and
spirit.
Simple Breathing Exercises
We can also do a few simple breathing exercises to relax even more
before bedtime.
- Sit comfortably on the couch
or lie down on the bed, with the back straight. Leave aside
telephones and negative thoughts.
- Gently close the eyes.
- Breathe gently and
naturally, without thinking about anything negative. If you can not
isolate our thoughts, focus on your breathing.
- Just follow your breath:
"Inhale-pause-exhale-pause".
- If thoughts or feelings
come to your mind, try to bring your thoughts back to breathing. Stay calm
and relaxed for five to ten minutes or until you fall asleep.
- A more advanced breathing
technique is to hold each breath a certain amount of time, exhalation and
pause, as many seconds as anyone feels can respond without difficulty.
